Washington (November 10, 2019) – The Alliance of Community Health Plans is deeply saddened by the passing of Kaiser Permanente Chairman and CEO Bernard J. Tyson.
“Bernard was a visionary leader with a passion for health equity, quality care and serving those in need,” said ACHP President and CEO Ceci Conolly. “His passionate advocacy for high quality, affordable health care impacted millions of lives across the country and improved the health of the many communities he served. His loss is a loss for all who strive to improve the quality of care and coverage in the American health care system.”
