The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s Acting Commissioner, Sara Brenner, with comments on the Expedited Program for Serious Conditions–Accelerated Approval of Drugs and Biologics. ACHP strongly recommends that the FDA increase data sharing and transparency in the accelerated approval pathway to build trust and expand coverage for approved drugs.
