ACHP and ACAP support the Administration’s initiatives to make it easier for individuals to access and use their health information. However, given the strain caused by COVID-19, health plans have been forced to focus their resources and efforts on addressing the public health crisis. Under these circumstances, ACHP and ACAP urge CMS to use discretion in when enforcing Interoperability Final Rules.
