The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services about adjusting Medicaid capitation rates. More than 25 million Medicaid beneficiaries have lost coverage through the redeterminations process and adjusting capitation rates to reflect the smaller, sicker risk pool is essential to the financial viability and quality of care in the Medicaid program.
