Experience: Dan is a government relations executive with over twenty years of experience working on state and federal legislative and regulatory health care strategies. Prior to joining ACHP, Dan was the Vice President, Enterprise Policy and Government Relations at Health Care Service Corporation, the operating company of five Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, where he led enterprise-wide state and federal policy development, the employees’ political action committee, and legislative and regulatory strategies on several corporate priorities. Dan previously led Congressional advocacy efforts at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Dan also has experience on Capitol Hill and at associations representing providers and small businesses.
