Melanie Dakwa
Manager, Clinical Programs
Experience: As the manager of Clinical Programs, Melanie drives the engagement of ACHP’s member organizations through collaborative learning and collective research, especially as it relates to health plan performance improvement. Prior to joining ACHP, she worked at a D.C.-based research and evaluation consulting firm, Mirror Group LLC, as a Senior Research and Evaluation Assistant, where her portfolio of work consisted of evaluation, strategy and learning projects in health equity with both national and local philanthropies and nonprofit organizations. As a part of her graduate work, Melanie led a comprehensive study on the quality of life in Black women diagnosed with endometriosis where she also explored their experiences in the health care system and perceptions on resiliency.
