Addition marks ACHP’s first Louisiana-based member
Washington, D.C. (May 3, 2023) – The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP), a network of nonprofit, provider-aligned, community-based health plans, today announces its Board of Directors voted to approve New Orleans-based Ochsner Health Plan as its newest member. With the addition of Ochsner Health Plan, ACHP has expanded its membership network to provide coverage and care across 38 states and the District of Columbia.

Ochsner Health Plan, part of Ochsner Health, offers Medicare Advantage insurance coverage across the entire state of Louisiana. Its network includes 47 hospitals, and its health plans offer coverage throughout the Pelican State. As a regional, not-for-profit health plan, it joins other ACHP members in its shared dedication to better care, lower costs and improved health outcomes.
