“Unchecked drug prices threaten access to life-saving medications for millions of Americans and jeopardize the financial viability of the entire health care system. ACHP is committed to lowering prescription drug costs through comprehensive, targeted reforms to rein in pharmacy benefit managers, increase biosimilar and generic access through patent reforms, curb direct-to-consumer drug ads and ensure coverage of novel therapies. Americans deserve access to affordable medications. The Administration and Congress should immediately act on these commonsense ideas.”
