The disruption caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency highlights the dire need to modernize quality measurement and provides an unprecedented opportunity to establish a more meaningful system that increases transparency, decreases burden and supports value-based care delivery. ACHP has submitted the letter below to CMS; it includes recommendations to CMS on modernizing quality ratings.
