Experience: As the Associate Director of Policy at the Alliance of Community Health Plans, Nissa helps to support and lead ACHP’s policy efforts for health equity, social determinants of health, Medicaid, and dual-eligible populations. Prior to joining ACHP, Nissa led national consumer health campaigns on medication adherence and vaccine confidence, anti-counterfeit drugs, and maternal health as the Associate Director of Health Policy at the National Consumers League. Nissa’s path into health policy was catalyzed by her prior work in emergency services.
