The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) updating the agency on the response of nonprofit, community health plans to UnitedHealth Group’s Change Healthcare cyberattack. ACHP and its member companies continue to address provider community needs and have delivered a variety of workarounds, including advance payments, claim deadline flexibility and assistance establishing new clearinghouse connections.
