Today, more people than ever are using telehealth — but it’s future is uncertain. To address health care needs during the COVID-19 crisis, the government made temporary changes to expand the use of telehealth. And access to virtual care has become a lifeline for tens of millions, almost overnight. But, if Congress doesn’t act, those changes could be undone, leaving millions without access to an essential pathway to care. It’s time for Congress to give people the stability and predictability they deserve and secure the future of telehealth.
